You know, he's got a point. The "Super Moon" Is not really all that super. Yes, it's a bigger size, and yes it's a full moon. But this is not that big of a deal!
I don't want to crush anyone's dreams about seeing a "Super Moon", but it's really nothing special. If you really want to see an astronomical event, move to Jupiter and wait for the year it's moons line up perfectly in the sky! Ok, I'm sorry, but I guess that isn't that abnormal either. At least not for the Galilean Moons.
Apparantly Moon Orbits just aren't that special. The Moons themselves however, now that may be a different story.
