Video Game Corner: Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn

The Final Fantasy Series has been an inspiration for me since as long as I can remember. One of the things that makes it such a constant source of fresh ideas is due to the level of immersion that Square Enix tries to create within their games.

From the vivid and fantastic areas to explore, to the epic and melodic music, it creates a whole sense of fantasy within the world. Final Fantasy XIV's original launch fell rather short of this standard, as many of us know. However, with the realm being completely re-worked and re-built while the players give their input on how to make it better, things seem to be looking up for the game.

One key point I would like to note is at the beginning of this video they note all of the previous final fantasy games from I - XIII. Perhaps they are taking an angle of involvement with the series as a whole, which they would do well to do with the success of Kingdom Hearts and it's immersion within the Final Fantasy universe.

I will be playing this game, in fact I am already playing the Beta. Once it releases though, that's when the real fun begins. I hope I can find some of you to join me and my friends as we explore this fantastic universe!

I can't wait for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Murdered: Soul Suspect. I have played Phase 3 beta of Final Fantasy XIV and it is awesome and the best MMO I have played in a Long time. I just heard about Murdered: Soul Suspect about a week ago, which is strange since I watched E3 but saw nothing about it anywhere O.o, I watched the 23 minute video showing how the game works and it looks so amazing and fun. I hope it comes out for the PS4 ^_^
